Academic Upgrading - variesOffers English, math and basic computer studies which include Indigenous components designed to meet the needs of Indigenous students.
Archaeological Field Assistant, Certificate - 1 monthCovers the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to work in an archaeological dig site. If you are a First Nations community member interested in participating in cultural resource management within a traditional territory, you'll find this intensive program useful. Offered in May. Includes weekend field experience.
Arts and Science Studies, Diploma - 2 yearsFor this diploma you'll need to complete 20 university transfer courses (60 credits). At least 14 courses must be offered by the School of Arts and Science. This gives you the flexibility and freedom to study courses of your choosing.
General Arts, Associate of Arts Degree - 2 yearsProvides a strong academic foundation for future study. Courses from this subject will satisfy the program’s requirement to include Science courses.
Health Care Assistant – Indigenous - 49 weeksPrepares you to provide care to families and individuals in First Nations and Indigenous communities. You'll be qualified to work as part of a health care team in any level of continuing care. This program is offered every few years.
Indigenous College Prep - 8 to 12 monthsPrepares you to enter college programs that require English 12 and Math 10. The program focuses on Aboriginal community issues.
Indigenous Studies, Diploma - 16 to 24 monthsPrepares you to work in leadership capacities in reserve and urban communities and government. Transfers to other post-secondary degree programs.
Indigenous Peoples in Trades TrainingTwo trade avenues offered
  • Trades Skills Foundation for Indigenous peoples program, and/or
  • Direct entry into one of Camosun’s skilled Trades Foundation programs
Nursing, Bachelor of Science - 4 yearsAn exciting career with infinite possibilities. Courses from this subject will satisfy the program’s requirement to include at least two non-Nursing courses.
Pre-Social Work, Associate of Arts Degree - 2 yearsProvides a strong academic foundation for future study as part of a four-year social work degree.
University Transfer - variesThe UT program is highly customizable, offering up to two full years of transfer credit in more than 30 subject areas.

If you want to focus on Indigenous Learning and earn a full credential, you can take one of Camosun's programs with Indigenous perspectives or take Indigenous courses as part of a related program.
