Academic Upgrading

Academic Upgrading, Certificate - length varies

  • Foundations of Academic Upgrading, Certificate
  • Intermediate Academic Upgrading, Certificate
  • Upgrade to the Grade 10 level
  • Earn pre-requisites for your next program
  • Take individual courses or complete the certificate
  • Individual courses are also available for Pre-requisites
  • BC Adult Graduation BCAGD), Diploma
  • For adult learners who want to take courses in order to complete high school and obtain their adult high school diploma
Building Employment Success for Tomorrow, Certificate - 8 weeks
  • Assess your interests, abilities and potential

College Prep - courses only
Indigenous College Prep, Certificate - 8 months
  • Held in local First Nations communities
  • Prepares Indigenous students for entrance into college-level courses and programs
  • Take courses including Intermediate math (Grade 10)
  • UCEP (University College Entrance Preparation) fundable by bands


Employment Training and Preparation

  • Employment Preparation, Certificate - 8 months
    • Employment Preparation: Essential Employment Skills Specialization, Certificate

English Language Development (ESL)

  • Prepare for the workplace or further studies at college or university
  • Take basic to advanced ESL courses
  • Earn a Health Care Assistant certificate while improving your English 
  • ELD 056 is taught by an ELD instructor as part of this program offered by Health & Human Services
