Build a small business and create community ties.

Professional Studies & Industry Training (ProSIT) at Camosun College is recruiting for the third cohort of the Maker to Market program that begins in March 2023. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), this no-cost program aims to help immigrant and refugee women build small businesses and create community ties. Participants increase their language, business, and maker skills by collectively developing and selling products at local farmers’ markets. ProSIT is grateful to work with amazing partners who support Maker to Market, such as the Inter-Cultural Association of Victoria, BC Association of Farmers’ Markets, Mustard Seed, and DIVERSEcity.
