Dustin joined Camosun College in 2019 to develop and teach the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program. He instructs students in ultrasound procedures, anatomy, pathology, image critique and other courses as required. Dustin brings with him over 16 years of diverse healthcare experience, having previously worked for Island Health as the Medical Imaging Manager of Quality & Operations as well as Leader of Ultrasound for the south island region. He holds Diplomas from BCIT in Medical Radiography and Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Growing up in Courtenay, Dustin has lived in Victoria since 1999 and currently calls Colwood home. When he is not teaching at Camosun College, he spends his spare time teaching veterinarians in BC and Alberta about ultrasound and assisting them with developing scanning protocols and equipment set-up. Dustin also enjoys camping, hiking and spending time with his wife and two young daughters.
