Deanna has a passion for teaching and learning, and she has been working with students since 1992. Along with teaching Academic and Technical Writing and English Literature, Deanna has served as the English Department Chair and the Associate Dean of Arts. In 2012, Deanna left education to work as a community fundraiser for the United Way and to sail on a catamaran, with her husband, to Mexico and across the Islands of the South Pacific. She’s returned to teaching writing part-time, and she loves online teaching and learning, as well as being with her students in the classroom.
