Nick Gottfried

Nick Nick grew up in Black Creek, BC and has been teaching sports and fitness to people of all ages since 2007. In addition to Camosun, he currently works with various municipalities here in Victoria in both the fitness and youth departments. He attended university in South Carolina while on a golf scholarship where upon graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Education, he taught high school PE before moving back to Canada. As a trainer, Nick is very knowledgeable about sport specific strength and conditioning (running & cycling in particular), injury prevention and recovery, and developing a balanced program for his clients. Nick has competed competitively as a triathlete, runner, and XC mountain biker. Being both an athlete and a trainer has reinforced for Nick the importance of not only training correctly, but the need to take proper care of your body in order to enjoy life long health. Nick's education, teaching experience, supportive attitude, and approachability make him an excellent trainer and educator.

Jenna Howe

Jenna Howe After graduating from George Brown Colleges' Fitness and Lifestyle Management Program in 1995 Jenna has been educating and training in many areas of fitness and health. While personal training in private practice, Jenna also taught for the Police Foundations Program at Fleming College for several years. During her time at the Peterborough Sport and Wellness Centre, Jenna brought Zumba Fitness to the city, developed Cancer Recovery Programs and worked with individuals both in and out of the pool for rehabilitative purposes. Jenna has since has received her degree in Psychology and completed the Yoga Therapy program at Pacific Rim College. When she isn't personal training, Jenna teaches Zumba, Groove, and Bellyfit classes along with provides therapeutic services for sports injuries, postural imbalances and general health and well-being.

Danny

Danny Harris Danny was born in Victoria BC, and has been in the fitness industry for 5 years helping people achieve their personal fitness goals. He is very passionate about helping people improve their health! His education and professional background has provided him with extensive knowledge and experience. Danny is a certified personal trainer, has degree in Recreation & Health, and has experience working as a fitness trainer for the Canadian Forces. In addition Danny has trained at the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence and has been a consultant to various television shows. Through these opportunities he has been able to excel in a broad range of fitness disciplines. Danny believes first and foremost exercise should be safe. A close second is that exercise should bring results, and last but certainly not least; exercise should be fun.. well..fun-ish. "The most common reasons for people to give up on exercising are injury, lack of results, and boring workouts."

Joel

Joel Swets Joel has been professionally involved in fitness for over 12 years. Helping others achieve their fitness goals has motivated him into the exciting field of exercise and health. Joel is a YM-YWCA Certified Strength/ Personal Trainer. He is also a health educational instructor, and Third Age Group Fitness Leader. Joel is a dedicated professional with a track record of exceeding goals and stan-dards. He possesses exceptional interpersonal skills, and works well with diverse individuals. He offers a high level of dependability and enthusiasm, and brings health and fitness to new levels to those around him.

Education: Specializations: Postural Assessment & Realignment, Pre/Post Operative Rehabilitation for Hip, Knee, and Shoulder, Third Age Group Fitness, High Intensity Interval Training, Boot camp, Weight Loss & Strength Training Programs.
