Advanced Jazz

Designed for the experienced dancer to challenge and maintain acquired skills. Class components contain structured techniques for quality of movement, flexibility, execution for jumps and turns. A minimum of five years of formal dance training is recommended.

Advanced Contemporary Dance

Contemporary dance uses techniques drawn from classical, modern and lyrical dance disciplines. Techniques are expressed in a non-structured manner allowing dancer expression of movement.

Afternoon Hatha

The practice of Asana (posture) with the guidance of the breath brings deep awareness of Self. In this class we will practice the postures with attention to proper alignment and safe joint positioning. We use breath to bring awareness and self observation to your yogic being.

Art Of Iyengar Yoga

Ashtanga Yoga

A vigorous and dynamic yoga practice consisting of a series of linked postures derived from traditional teachings of Ashtanga yoga. Build strength and stamina in this challenging yoga practice. Class is suitable for all levels.

Barre Body

This is the exercise program made famous by the movie “Black Swan”. It gives an effective workout with fast results. Working at the barre tones and lengthen muscles while increasing stamina and endurance like a dancer’s body. The class is a fusion of dance and pilates but previous experience is not needed.

Beginner Contemporary Jazz

Let’s go have fun and get a workout. Combine jazz technique with the freedom and flow of contemporary movement. Build flexibility, technique, strength and confidence. Learn some original choreography as well!

Bellyfit

In the first half hour of the class, burn calories and relieve stress with fun, high intensity cardio. Easy to learn moves from belly dance, Bollywood, Bhangra, African dance and more. Second half of the class, sculpt, tone and tighten with Pilates inspired core work and finish off with deep relaxing a yoga-inspired stretch and meditation.

Belly Groove

A great workout, try this beginner belly dance workout. Isolated torso exercises develop your stomach, arms & upper back muscles. Hip techniques give your legs, glutes & calves an excellent workout. Hatha Flow

This class is designed for all levels. Classes start with a simple centering exercise, and then move through a series of warm-ups focusing on opening up all the joints of the body. The class will then transition into a flowing practice of breath and movement which will gradually soften and move to a series of longer held floor exercises and end with a guided relaxation. All classes flow with a musical soundtrack.

Moderate No-Impact Cardio

A group fitness practicum designed as a standing cardio fitness class. Practice will include warm up, cardio, cool-down and strength components. Put on some good gym shoes and come burn a few calories for the weekend!

Lyrical Ballet 1

Develop maximum turn out and extension, using standing, centre and floor barre. This class is designed to provide dance body maintenance the experienced dancer and physical challenges for the beginner.

Restorative Yoga

In this gentle approach to yoga, modified poses allow practice without strain. By supporting the body with props, we stimulate and relax the body to move towards balance. Restorative poses relieve fatigue and stress from daily activities, and allow you to move into awareness, stillness and deep relaxation.
