Cardio Blast

Blast your cardio fitness level through the roof with a 25 minute class of any type of cardio training the instructor feels like throwing at you! You can expect classes such as cardio kickboxing, step, high/low impact, or maybe Tabata style HIIT.  Bottom line, you will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds every time. Come prepared to sweat, breathe hard and get super fit!

Hatha Yoga

By Friday afternoon many of us find ourselves walking around with tension and busy minds. Take this opportunity to care for your body and tune into mental reset. This Friday afternoon 50 minute slow to medium paced class is the perfect transition for a refreshing and restorative way to start your week end. Kundalini Yoga

The practise of Kundalini Yoga will help you overcome stress and anxiety. The exercise sets engage the breath, improving your strength, flexibility and coordination. With regular practice you will be calm, centred, and energized. This beginning class includes deep relaxation and meditation. No previous yoga experience is necessary.

Sunset Circuit

This fast paced class is a total body challenge that is designed to target strength building and improve agility and muscular endurance through various stations. You’ll be using a mixture of dumbbells, stability balls, medicine balls, kettlebells, body weight and more. Open to all fitness levels.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi Chuan is a form of exercise that involves slow relaxed movement to enhance balance and well-being and has applications for self-defense. The movements of Tai Chi are performed slowly to ensure good form and body dynamics promoting muscle and balance development but also “internal” massage. In this course students, will learn the basics of Tai Chi Chuan through: Silk-Reeling warm-up exercises, the Wu/Ng/Yang 108 movement form as well as “moving hands” two person exercises. Each class will include review, learning new movements, meditation, and applications. It is important to wear comfortable footwear and loose clothing that is not binding.

Yoga for Transition Research study

This 6 week research study is designed for women between the ages of 35-55 years. It will be examining the role of yoga as a tool to enhance the health of women’s bodies and minds. A Hatha Yoga approach will be used. Sessions will focus on balance, strength and mobility ending with meditation and journal writing. This program is free but seats are limited.
