Cardio Blast

Blast your cardio fitness level through the roof with a 25 minute class of any type of cardio training the instructor feels like throwing at you! Kundalini Yoga

The practise of Kundalini Yoga will help you overcome stress and anxiety. The exercise sets engage the breath, improving your strength, flexibility and coordination. Performance Dance

The Camosun Dance Team gives students the opportunity to learn award winning choreography and perform throughout the city. There are two groups to allow all levels opportunity to perform and be challenged appropriately . Dance team Level 1 is suitable for beginner level dancers who wish to improve their dancing and learn how to perform and be part of a team. Requires dancers to be registered in at least one other dance class lead by Director Sophia Harrington in order to continuously improve the dancer’s technique.

Sexy Jazz

Sexy Jazz is class (open to both men and women) is a sassy, confidence boosting class where students will learn to dance like divas such as Beyonce, while learning sexy moves including body isolations and floor work as well as basics like walking confidentiality in heels and working on improving flexibility. Tai Chi

Tai Chi Chuan is a form of exercise that involves slow relaxed movement to enhance balance and well-being and has applications for self-defense. The movements of Tai Chi are performed slowly to ensure good form and body dynamics promoting muscle and balance development but also “internal” massage. In this course students will learn the basics of Tai Chi Chuan through: Silk-Reeling warm-up exercises, the Wu/Ng/Yang 108 movement form as well as “moving hands” two person exercises. Each class will include review, learning new movements, meditation, and applications. It is important to wear comfortable footwear and loose clothing that is not binding.
