Class Descriptions

Abs & Gluts
This 30 min class includes a core warmup and a 5 min stretch session with targeted moves for both abs and glutes with emphasis on core stability, posture as well as localized strength and conditioning.

Barre
Barre is a unique class for all ages. It is designed to streamline, firm, tighten and tone muscles and realign your body without adding bulk. It fuses legendary fitness technique from Pilates, strength with weights, and sculpted legs with more single leg challenges. Use a chair, counter, windowsill or fence for your barre.

Boot Camp
Challenge yourself with this strength and cardio Boot Camp style workout. Full body movements will task your system and take your fitness to the next level.

Cardio Blast
Blast your cardio fitness level through the roof with a 25 minute class of any type of cardio training the instructor feels like throwing at you! You can expect classes such as cardio kickboxing, step, high/low impact, or maybe Tabata style HIIT.  Bottom line, you will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds every time. Come prepared to sweat, breathe hard and get super fit!

Morning HIIT 
This early morning HIIT class will get your day started off right. This class will have a combination of strength and cardio intervals that will have your metabolism revving for the whole day.

Pilates
Challenge your mind & body with a series of exercises designed to come from the core. I know you hear that description for every type of Pilates class-but I will teach you what the principles feel like and encourage you to find the “Goldilocks” of the exercise to really experience what Pilates IS.

The exercises in class are designed to change your shape and create more strength as well as range of motion. People will notice you look different! This class is geared towards participants with previous Pilates experience already. You will be observed doing the exercises and given cues to assist you in developing better form just like you would in a regular class.

Yoga for Difficult Times

Through movement (yoga asanas), brief periods of meditation, and breath(pranayama) we will explore the elements and the energetic centres(chakras) within the yoga tradition. This foundation will offer helpful tools for going with the flow of your life. (Open to all levels of experience including beginners)

  • Instructor: Beth Miller

Zumba
This popular fitness dance class involves dance, aerobic and resistance training. Zumba choreography incorporates Hip Hop, Samba, Salsa, Meringue, Mambo, martial arts and some Bollywood moves. No dance experience required.
