Midterm season is upon us, and I know I’m sure feeling the pressure! Long hours in the library, or whatever quiet place we can find, it sure leads to a very sedentary day. While I know that midterms and school always comes first, and you might want to skip your workout to get that extra hour or so of studying. But think of this before you do! Exercise can help you study!

There are many great debates – toilet paper over the roll or under? Smooth or crunchy peanut butter? Sit or stand to wipe? (Too much I know) And finally “stretchers” or “crackers”. Are you more likely to stretch during class or crack your: back, fingers, knuckles, NECK, ankles, elbows?

One of the most common questions I answer when I work behind the counter at the Rec Office is about the personal training we offer in the Fitness Centres! What is like? How does it work? Etc. While I love being able to answer everyone's questions, with the interest of time in mind I can't give a full look into what you really get with the help of one of our personal trainers!

Vitamin D, which naturally comes from the sun – is one of our most needed daily vitamins! But even if you're told by your doctor every time you see him...you may still forget to take it! I did find out that you can take a week's worth in one day—but probably not all the time!

Are you an adventurer? No, I don’t mean “I travelled the world with just a back pack and my GoPro” kind of adventurer! I mean the, “I don’t have classes on Tuesdays and I want to go out and do something” kind of adventuring! Whether it be hiking, or walking slightly uphill as some of these trails are very friendly on your feet!
