Camosun Chargers at College of the Rockies Avalanche

The Chargers volleyball teams wrapped up their two-game stint in Cranbrook Saturday.
Chargers women won in straight sets (25-12, 25-20, 25-20) after losing a gutty five set match on Friday. Saturday, Hilary Graham tied an all-time Chargers Women’s Volleyball record with 8 service aces. Other notable performances included third-year middle Morgan Marshall with 5 kills and 3 aces and third-year libero Mariah Holmstrom with 16 digs. The Chargers are 12-8 and move up to 3rd place in the PACWEST standings.
The Chargers men came away with an elusive sweep after beating COTR in four sets (18-25, 25-22, 27-25, 25-23). Fourth-year leftside Alex Wolf led Camosun with 20 kills and 5 digs while third-year libero Adrian Best had 20 digs. At 11-9, the Charger men are tied with Columbia Bible College for first place in the PACWEST standings.
