Camosun congratulates Chargers volleyball award recipients as teams go for gold at the 2017 PACWEST Provincial Championships

Camosun College is proud to congratulate five student-athletes from the Chargers Athletics program who were named today as recipients of the 2017 men’s and women’s volleyball conference awards.

The Camosun men and women will make their run for gold at the 2017 PACWEST Provincial Championships which begin tomorrow at Vancouver Island University, February 23-25.

The two-time defending champion Chargers men will be aiming for a three-peat, beginning with a quarter-final battle against the sixth seeded Capilano Blues at 3pm. Check here for the Championship Preview.

In women’s action, the 2017 CCAA Women’s Volleyball National Championship host seed Chargers go up against the third-seeded Capilano Blues at 1pm. See the Preview for details on each team.

8pm Men #4 College of the Rockies vs #5 Douglas

Please Note: Matches on Thursday (Feb 23) and Friday (Feb 24) will be webcast on SportsCanadaTV while fans can catch Saturday’s medal matches (Feb 25) on Shaw TV.
