Camosun student-athlete earns CCAA kudos

Camosun College is proud to announce that second-year power hitter for the Chargers women’s volleyball team Tanisha Marcelle, earned the Canadian Colleges’ Athletic Association Athlete of the Week award for her outstanding performance against the Douglas College Royals on January 8-9.
Chargers Athletics Coordinator Graham Matthews commended Ms. Marcelle on her recent honors. “We are all very proud of Tanisha’s accomplishments. She has really proved herself in her second year at Camosun, excelling both on the court and the classroom. Over the past two weeks, Tanisha has earned the Provincial Athlete of the Week award, followed by a National Athlete of the Week recognition … and all while achieving top grades in the Camosun Nursing Program.”
