Nine Chargers earn prestigious CCAA National Scholar Award

Camosun College is pleased to announce that nine Chargers student-athletes have been recognized as 2008-2009 National Scholar Award recipients by the Canadian Colleges’ Athletics Association (CCAA).

The National Scholar Award is designed to recognize the outstanding academic accomplishments of CCAA student-athletes. To achieve this honour, a student-athlete must achieve a GPA standing of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent in their current academic year. From last year’s 106 CCAA member-institutions, 586 students were awarded the prestigious honour in their pursuit of academic and athletic excellence.
