Though the weekend was about playing together, Hassan was instrumental in giving the Chargers everything they needed to pull off two important wins.
On Friday against CBC, Hassan came off the bench playing very disciplined and energized defense. Offensively, he finished 8/11 from the field for 19 points, 4 rebounds and 4 steals in 25 minutes. Most importantly, he did this in the flow of Camosun's offensive and defensive system without forcing anything and making great decisions with the ball and off the ball.
Against Kwantlen on Saturday, Hassan again was the energizer that pushed the Chargers off to a great start. His energy and execution was second to none and set the tone on both ends of the floor for how the entire game would go. He finished 6/7 from the field for 18 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals all in less than 20 minutes of playing time. He had the highlight of the game showcasing his dribbling skills going coast to coast finishing with a massive dunk in transition.
For the weekend, this equals to 78% field goal percentage 37 points, 14 rebounds and 6 steals in only 39 combined minutes.
