Camosun Chargers Athletics

Adopt a Charger program

The Adopt a Charger program provides an avenue for alumni, donors, friends and family to support our diligent student-athletes by enhancing their experience from first year at Camosun College to graduation.

Competing at the highest level of intercollegiate athletics, Chargers student-athletes face many challenges and make numerous sacrifices in their pursuit of academic and athletic excellence. In addition to full-time academic workloads and in many cases, juggling part-time work, student-athletes face the daily demands of dedicating time and energy towards training, competition, travel and community outreach.

It is with your help that the Chargers Athletic program continues to grow as the Chargers pursue excellence on the court, in the classroom and in community service.

Designation Of Funds

For a minimum $300 contribution, you can adopt a student-athlete and provide essential support to the chargers teams. Your contribution makes a world of difference by supplying student-athletes with scholarships, specialized training equipment, team apparel and travel to non-conference competitions.

This financial aid is key to the continuation of sport excellence at camosun college. It assists today's motivated and talented student-athletes in their journey to become future champions and tomorrow's leaders. Thanks to you, student-athletes have the opportunity to fully experience student life and contribute to the spirit of camosun college and our community.

Donor Acknowledgment/Benefits

A financial contribution to the Adopt a Charger program will not only connect you to one of our exceptional student-athletes and varsity programs, you will also be listed as a donor on our Camosun Foundation website and receive a charitable tax receipt for the total amount of your donation. Additionally, you will receive an invitation to the Chargers annual athletic awards ceremony and be listed in the Chargers annual viewbook as well as on the Camosun College Chargers Athletics website.
