How to Submit an Enrolment Verification Request:
Step 1 – Ensure you meet the processing requirements
- You have paid your deposit for the requested term(s)
- You are registered in the courses for the requested term(s)
- You have paid all outstanding fees owed to the college
Step 2 - Complete Request form Confirmation of Enrolment Form PDF (please download the form to your PC first, then fill, save and send to us to avoid sending a blank form)
Step 3 – Submit Request form and Third-Party Enrolment form (if applicable)

Types of Enrolment Verification
Letter of Enrolment
An official letter, on Camosun letterhead and signed by the Registrar, which includes:
- Academic Term(s)
- Enrolment Date(s)
- Program Name
- Program Length
- Enrolment status (Part-time or Full-time)
- Additional information – added upon request
Letters are emailed, as a secured PDF, to your email address on your student record; no pick-up option is available.
Verification of a Third-Party Enrolment Form – Including a school stamp or seal
Many organizations require proof of enrolment using their official form. Student Records will complete the form per the form's instructions. Official forms must be attached with your request. Please ensure the student authorization section is signed and dated.

- CPP Service Canada – Declaration of Attendance at School or University (submit after your first day of class; submission instructions. Please DO NOT submit to Camosun by mail)
- Ministry of Education BC Scholarship Vouchers (submission instructions. Please DO NOT submit to Camosun by mail)
- Knowledge First Financial/ Heritage Education Funds
- Children’s Education Funds Inc.
Verified forms are currently not available for pick-up. Depending on the form type and organization’s requirements, we may be able to scan and email to your email address on your student record or we will mail it to you. Upon receipt of your request, we will contact you with further information about method of delivery.

Service Canada CPP Form Verification
How to Verify a Service Canada CPP Declaration of Attendance at School or University Form:
This is applicable to 2021 Winter and prior. Please do not mail us your Service Canada forms.
Due to Covid-19, the suspension of in-person services at Camosun and Service Canada’s temporary process for submitting Service Canada CPP (ISP-1401) forms, please follow the instructions below for submitting your Declaration of Attendance:
- Currently Service Canada is accepting a letter of enrolment in lieu of Camosun verifying your Declaration of Attendance at School or University (form ISP-1401). View their webpage with the most current updates.
- As per Service Canada, AFTER your first day of class(es), please complete your Declaration of Attendance form by filling out Section A & B, leaving Section C blank (the letter of enrolment is in lieu of Camosun verifying section C).
- AFTER your first day of class(es), please request a letter of enrolment from Camosun by completing the Confirmation of Enrolment form. Be sure to check off the “Letter of Enrolment” box, sign and include payment information; there is a $10 fee for letters of enrolment.
- Email your Confirmation of Enrolment form to verificationofenrolment@camosun.ca. We do not require your Service Canada- CPP forms.
- Upon receipt, your letter will be verified within 7 business days and emailed to your email address on your student file.
- Print your letter of enrolment.
- Mail your letter of enrolment AND Declaration of Attendance to Service Canada AFTER your first day of class(es). We do not mail or email letters or forms to Service Canada on the student’s behalf.

BC Provincial Scholarship Verification
How to Verify a BC Provincial Scholarship:
This is applicable to 2021 Winter and prior. Please do not mail us your BC Provincial Scholarships. For any other type of scholarship, please contact us at verificationofenrolment@camosun.ca .
Due to Covid-19 and the suspension of in-person services at Camosun, please follow the instructions below for submitting your BC Provincial Scholarship.
- For the BC Ministry of Education scholarships, please follow their Alternate Verification instructions.
- Ensure you meet the requirements as outlined on the scholarship. You must have paid your tuition equal or greater to the amount on your scholarship in order to qualify.
- Request a letter of enrolment from Camosun by completing the Confirmation of Enrolment form. Be sure to check off the “Letter of Enrolment” box, sign and include payment information; there is a $10 fee for letters of enrolment. In the “Additional information or instructions” section, please include the issue and expiry dates of your scholarship as well as a note for us to include a registration statement.
- Email your Confirmation of Enrolment form to verificationofenrolment@camosun.ca . We do not require your scholarship to be scanned and emailed.
- Upon receipt, your letter will be verified within 7 business days and emailed to your email address on your student file.
- Print your letter of enrolment and registration statement.
- Mail your letter of enrolment, registration statement, AND your Scholarship to the BC Provincial Scholarship Program. We do not mail or email letters or forms to the BC Provincial Scholarship Program on the student’s behalf.
