Verification of Enrolment

Verification of Enrolment (or registrar's stamp, an institution seal or stamp, or a school seal or stamp) is official proof that you're enrolled at Camosun and may be required by other organizations for funding, scholarships or employment.

Letter of Enrolment

A letter of enrolment is $10 and is an official letter, on Camosun letterhead and signed by the Registrar, which includes:

  • Academic Term(s)
  • Enrolment Date(s)
  • Program Name
  • Program Length
  • Enrolment status (Part-time or Full-time)
  • Additional information – added upon request

How to Order:

  • Log in to myCamosun
  • Select "Verification of Enrolment Request"
  • Select "Add New Request"
  • Complete "Address To", "Address", "City", "State/Province", "ZIP/Postal Code" using YOUR contact info only. Note: your letter will NOT be mailed to you.
  • Enter "1" in "Copies"
  • Current term will automatically be included on your letter. If you require any additional terms (i.e. 2020 Fall) or other requests, please include in the box at the bottom of the form.
  • Select "Proceed to Payment"

The letter of enrolment is produced in PDF format and is emailed to your email address on file within 7 business days after submitting your request. No pick-up option is available.

Please be advised that a letter of enrolment will not be provided if:

  • You have not paid your deposit for the requested term(s)
  • You are not registered in the course(s) for the requested term(s)
  • You have not paid all outstanding tuition and fees owed to the college

Third-Party Form Verification

Third-party form verification is $10 per form. Many organizations require proof of enrolment using their (third-party) official form. Examples of third-party forms include but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge First Financial
  • Heritage Education Funds
  • Children’s Education Funds Inc.
  • Canadian Scholarship Trust
  • iA Financial Group
  • Public Works & Government – Service Canada

Submission instructions, due to Covid-19, for Service Canada- CPP forms and District/Authority Scholarship Voucher or BC Achievement Scholarship Voucher

How to Order:

Requests will be completed within 7 business days after paying the $10 fee. Due to Covid-19, no pick-up option is available. Depending on the form type and organization’s requirements, we may be able to scan and email to your email address on file or we will mail it to your address on file.

Please be advised that third-party forms will not be verified if:

  • You have not paid your deposit for the requested term(s)
  • You are not registered in the course(s) for the requested term(s)
  • You have not paid all outstanding tuition and fees owed to the college

Service Canada CPP Forms

How to Verify a Service Canada CPP Declaration of Attendance at School or University Form:

This is applicable to 2021 Winter and prior. Please DO NOT mail us your Service Canada forms.

Due to Covid-19, the suspension of in-person services at Camosun and Service Canada’s temporary process for submitting Service Canada CPP (ISP-1401) forms, please follow the instructions below for submitting your Declaration of Attendance:

  1. Currently Service Canada is accepting a letter of enrolment in lieu of Camosun verifying your Declaration of Attendance at School or University (form ISP-1401). Please DO NOT mail us your Service Canada forms. View their webpage with the most current updates.
  2. AFTER your first day of class(es), please request a letter of enrolment through myCamosun. Your letter will be completed within 7 business days.
  3. Print/Save your letter of enrolment.
  4. As per Service Canada, AFTER your first day of class(es), follow submission instructions on page 1 of the Service Canada CPP (ISP-1401) form. If you are mailing the Service Canada CPP form to Service Canada, leave section C blank.
  5. Submit your letter of enrolment and Service Canada – CPP forms (if applicable) to Service Canada. We do not mail or email letters or forms to Service Canada on the student’s behalf.

BC Provincial Scholarship Verification

How to Verify a District/Authority and/or BC Achievement Scholarship Voucher:

This is applicable to 2021 Winter and prior. Please DO NOT mail us your BC Provincial Scholarships. For any other type of scholarship, please contact us at verificationofenrolment@camosun.ca.

Due to Covid-19 and the suspension of in-person services at Camosun, please follow the instructions below for submitting your BC Provincial Scholarship.

  1. For the BC Ministry of Education scholarships, please follow their Alternate Verification instructions. Please DO NOT mail us your BC Provincial Scholarships.
  2. Ensure you meet the requirements as outlined on the scholarship. You must have paid your tuition equal or greater to the amount on your scholarship in order to qualify.
  3. Request a letter of enrolment through myCamosun. In the additional requests box at the bottom of the request form, please include the issue and expiry dates of your scholarship. Your letter will be completed within 7 business days.
  4. Print/Save your letter of enrolment.
  5. Print your Student Statement from the Student Finance section of myCamosun. If you require a statement for 2020F or prior, to prove you’ve paid the $1250 within the voucher’s validity period, please email verificationofenrolment@camosun.ca requesting a registration statement. In your email request, please include your first and last name, student number and identify the term(s) you require statements for (i.e. 2020F).
  6. Submit your letter of enrolment, Student Statement, AND your Scholarship to the BC Provincial Scholarship Program. Click here for submission instructions. We do not mail or email letters or forms to the BC Provincial Scholarship Program on the student’s behalf.
