Photocopying and scanning
We are in the middle of changing our photocopying and scanning system to PaperCut. If you are a returning student, you may have copy credits remaining in your account. You can use those credits on the copiers that accept cards. All copiers will be switched over to the PaperCut system by January 2010. If you have remaining copy credits at that time, you can visit the Printshop to have those credits transferred to your PaperCut account.
Photocopiers have a Simplified Display button at the bottom right of the screen that changes the display. If the display looks different than what is shown, Simplified Display might be on. Press the Simplified Display to return to the normal display.
Copying using PaperCut
To conserve energy, photocopiers are set to go to sleep. If the On button, far right top, is not lit green, press it once. If the touch screen is dark, touch it or lift the copier lid.
The PaperCut system will deduct credits from your account for each copy you make. If a copier jams, please notify a Lab Tech, Printshop or Library staff member, or someone in the nearest school office. Most of the time they can get you up and running quickly.
- Touch Username and Password.
- Touch Username and enter your Camosun ID. Touch OK.
- Touch Pasword and enter your Camosun ID. Touch OK.
- Touch Login.
- Press the Copy button on the left side of the control panel to begin copying.
Colour copying
Colour copying is available at the Interurban Library, and at Lansdowne through AV services in the Library. Both campus Printshops also offer colour copying.
