Emergency Response Plan
The college Emergency Response Plan is being updated in 2010 and will be reviewed with College stakeholders and then published when complete.
Physical Resources currently manages Emergency Response with:
- College EOC (Emergency Operations Centre) team
- PRD team, College Safety managers
- 24 hour/7days per week emergency number 250–370–3075
- Securiguard contractor services
- alarm monitoring contractor services
- municipal and local emergency service providers (police, fire, ambulance)
- college leadership
- staff
- community and others
Our current documents and our Emergency Preparedness and Procedures Pamphlet (currently available throughout the college) will also be reviewed and republished this year.
The PRD team maintains a state of readiness for all potential events. As part of our continuous training program, we visited the Damage Control Facility at CFB Esquimalt in February, 2010.
