In the months and weeks leading up to your first day on campus, there are a few things you may need to sort out.

Note important dates
Important dates to mark in your calendar, such as college-wide closures, and final examination periods.
Learn about registration changes
Familiarize yourself with waitlist, course dropping, and withdrawal procedures.
Contact Academic Advising if you need guidance while planning your academic journey.
Note your fee and course withdrawal deadlines
One month before
Camosun ID cards
If you're registered (not waitlisted) in at least one credit course, you can request your Student ID card/U-Pass for the Winter 2021 term starting on December 14, 2020.
Get your course materials
Your course may require a textbook. Most textbooks will be available in a digital form and you can find your textbooks, order, and pay for them through the Bookstore’s website. You will need to know your course codes and section numbers (e.g. BUS 150-001) in order to find your textbooks.
One week before
Activate your Camosun domain account
You can activate your Camosun domain account online. After activating your account, you will need to change your password.
Check-in on D2L one day before your first class
Desire 2 Learn (D2L) is the online learning platform used at Camosun. Each of your courses will appear on D2L on the day they begin, but you will have access to the system one day before the start of your first class.

Get Office 365 for students
All Camosun students with a valid Camosun ID number qualify for access to Microsoft Office 365 through their Camosun domain account. Sign up here to be ready when your classes start.
