Fitness Centre Attendant
Gemma Devries is a BCRPA certified Personal Trainer with Fitness Theory, Weight Training, and Personal Training specialties. Her expertise lies in resistance, cardiovascular, posture, and flexibility training, as well as in her natural affinity for human connection.
Gemma has personal experience with the profound positive effect that an active lifestyle has on physical and mental well-being.
When she was six years old, Gemma began martial arts training, and by fifteen she had earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do. She then moved on to teach five- to seven-year-olds the martial art. A year prior to earning her black belt, Gemma began her weightlifting journey, and since the beginning, it has been a cornerstone of her life.
It is her lifelong passion for physical activity that makes her excited to share the great benefits of a strong body and mind with others.
As a Certified Personal Trainer, Gemma’s main goal is to help others feel empowered through fitness. She believes that every individual has the right a healthy life and strives to create a judgment-free environment where anyone and everyone can feel comfortable to begin or continue their personal fitness journey. By acknowledging individuality, Gemma helps others foster a healthy and happy relationship with active living through goal-based training.
