Different sources of funding are available to students who fit particular criteria. Access to funding may depend on the types of courses you are taking or other personal circumstances.
Financial Aid for Upgrading
Financial aid may be available to assist with your tuition and students fees for upgrading. Upgrading programs include: Academic Upgrading (including College Preparatory), English Language Development (ELD), Employment Training and Preparation (ETP), and Building Employment Success for Tomorrow (BEST).
Weston Family Scholarship in the Skilled Trades
Camosun College, with the support of The W. Garfield Weston Foundation, has implemented this program to help students achieve their education goals and begin a fulfilling career in the Skilled Trades.
Camosun Empowering Women in Trades Bursaries
Are you a female pursuing a Red Seal Trades Program at Camosun College? Do you require financial support to complete your technical training? You may be eligible for a bursary to assist with your educational costs and living cost supports through the Camosun Empowering Women in Trades Bursaries generously donated by The Gwyn Morgan & Patricia Trottier Foundation.

Students with Permanent Disabilities
If you are a student with a permanent disability, both the government and Camosun have various supports in place to assist you in your academic journey. Get informed and make the most of the programs available to you.
Youth Educational Assistance Fund for Former Youth in Care
If you are a full-time student between the ages of 19 and 24, and if you are a former British Columbia youth in care, you may be eligible to apply for the Youth Educational Assistance Fund (YEAF) for Former Youth in Care. YEAF provides up to $5500 in grant funding per year, for a maximum of four years, to eligible students.
