Career planning
Wondering about career planning and not a registered student yet?Once you are a registered student, there are a range of services available to you. As a prospective student, you are eligible to take part in a workshop, led by one of our trained Career Counsellors. This workshop is designed for people who aren't yet students, but are looking to gather some information about career choices. We offer this "Career Workshop" for prospective students about once a month.
In this workshop you will:
- explore your interests
- explore your strengths
- learn about the career decision making process
- gather information about career and training opportunities both at Camosun and elsewhere
- have access to the online career exploration site "Career Cruising"
- explore future steps
Cost for this workshop is $20 which includes the cost of the "Career Toolkit" (a workbook you will need to complete before attending the workshop) You are also welcome to make use of our Career Resource Centre.
