We provide free career resources and coaching to help students and alumni launch their careers. Whether you are entering the workforce for the first time or transitioning careers, come see us!

Book your individual appointment through the Co-op and Career Portal for:

  • career exploration/planning
  • cover letters and résumés
  • interview preparation
  • international resources
  • job search strategies

Are you looking for a job? On the Co-op and Career Portal you will find job postings from the local employer community. We have also collected a variety of resources for you that may further assist you in looking for a job or volunteer opportunity.

Thoughout the year, we host networking opportunities and various events such as career fairs, career speaker panels, career development seminars, employer information sessions and workshops. Make sure to regularly check the Events and Workshop section on the Co-op and Career Portal.

July draw winner, Julianna Tsui-Lan Leung

Julianna Tsui-Lan Leung is our Career Services monthly draw winner for July. She is a student in Camosun's English Language Development (ELD). Julianna booked an appointment to receive coaching on how to write a strategic resume to assist with her job search. She shared, "Your career services is very helpful and let me understand much more about Canada's working culture and style." She is planning to pursue a career in accounting.

August draw winner, Bryan Adair

Bryan Adair is a first year student in the academic program Pre-Social Work. Bryan visited our Career Lab at Lansdowne and he said, "The information I acquired from my visit actually led me to switch out of university transfer and into this program so I would consider it to have been very helpful." His career goal is to become a social worker, though yet uncertain as to what kind of social work he hopes to practice.

Every month, the Career Services office rewards one pro-active student for their participation in preparation for their career. Winners receive a $20 bookstore gift certificate and a Camosun mug to show their school pride.
