"After some career search and job hunt missteps, I decided to see a career coach at Camosun, a valuable and free service provided for current and past students of the college. Irene Wallace in Student and Alumni Employment Services was a great help. I see those meetings with Irene as a turning point in my search for a new and interesting career direction."

He plans to graduate this spring and his career plan is to work at Fitness Depot and train a couple of clients privately. He intends to return to school and pursue his Masters degree after getting some experience working in the field. Paul engaged with our Career Services by attending a “networking seminar” delivered by Irene Wallace in SFL 491. He said, "Yes it [seminar] was useful as I got to make connections with PISE facility manager Jodi, who pointed out a potential for creating my own job."
