"After some career search and job hunt missteps, I decided to see a career coach at Camosun, a valuable and free service provided for current and past students of the college. Irene Wallace in Student and Alumni Employment Services was a great help. I see those meetings with Irene as a turning point in my search for a new and interesting career direction."

Draw Winner Joey Mercer
Joey Mercer is a Environmental Technology student studying environmental sciences. He is in his third and final year of the program. Joey came into the Career Centre services office to gather information and advice on how to assist my career going forward beyond the ET program. Currently he is searching for a co-op work opportunity. He said, "I found the information at the Career Services office helpful and I now have a better idea of how to move forward". At this point, Joey’s current career plan is to find a job in the environmental sciences field. Preferably, he would like to be doing something like contaminated sites remediation, wildlife & habitat conservation, or a career related to geomorphology.
