"After some career search and job hunt missteps, I decided to see a career coach at Camosun, a valuable and free service provided for current and past students of the college. Irene Wallace in Student and Alumni Employment Services was a great help. I see those meetings with Irene as a turning point in my search for a new and interesting career direction."

Draw Winner Rebecca Carlos
Rebecca Carlos graduated from Camosun’s Electrical Trades Foundations Program spring of 2019. She took the program through the Women in Trades offer. Her next steps are to pursue an apprenticeship and she plans to keep learning and working toward getting her Red Seal Electrician. Rebecca attended the 2019 Trades Career Fair and there, she spoke with one of the Co-operative Education and Career Services staff about our Career Services. She said, “I was offered solid pointers on how to best follow up with potential employers plus good questions to ask an employer. It was very helpful.”
