"After some career search and job hunt missteps, I decided to see a career coach at Camosun, a valuable and free service provided for current and past students of the college. Irene Wallace in Student and Alumni Employment Services was a great help. I see those meetings with Irene as a turning point in my search for a new and interesting career direction."
Nathan, alumnus working in the financial sector
Draw Winner Jessica Davies
Our September Career Services Ballot winner is Jessica Davies. She attended our department’s ‘Get Advice and Grab a Slice’ event that we offered in partnership with the Student Society. Jessica said that because she attended the event, she learned about Career Services for the first time and she is excited to know what is available to her to support her career plans. Jessica is a first-year student in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program, and previously was a two-year student taking courses in preparation to get into Nursing. Her career goal is to work in a hospital as a Registered Nurse. Congratulations Jessica.
