Our Subject "Peanut" Harbour seal sampling with Institute of Ocean Sciences − Fresh samples (ie. serum, plasma, biopsy) are collected for analysis. Research in marine mammal toxicology is conducted to assess the environmental contamination of B.C.’s coastal ecosystem by Persistent Organic Pollutants, with killer whales being among the most contaminated in the world.

Elementary School visit - Organized and conducted a campus visit for elementary school students, "Future Class of 2018". The students were welcomed to the Interurban Campus, toured the Business, Trades, Technologies and Culinary Art areas. Each student was given a Camosun College “Future Graduates” t-shirt and enjoyed a pizza lunch.
