Child Care Fees

The monthly fee, based on the age of your child, is due on the first of each month without being invoiced and regardless of the number of days in the month, absenteeism due to illness, inclement weather, family vacations, statutory holidays, job action, or college closures. The monthly payment is determined once any Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) authorization has arrived in the CCS office.

Fees for 2024-2025

CCS participates in BC’s Fee Reduction Initiative (FRI) and Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) Program. Any changes in the funding provided by these programs may result in changes to your monthly fees.

Affordable Child Care Benefit

A parent may apply to the Ministry of Education and Child Care (MECC) to see if they are eligible for assistance. The enrolling parent is responsible for the application and renewal process. Full payment of the monthly child care fee is required until CCS is notified of ACCB approval. Any fees owing to CCS due to ACCB ineligibility, expiry, reduction or cancellation of funding are the responsibility of the enrolling parent and due upon notification.

Note: The ACCB rates reflect maximum ACCB funding levels. Entitlement is not guaranteed at the maximum rate as it is based on net income and family demographics.
