Camosun College Child Care Services has opted in to the new Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (FRI), as we believe in supporting families with lower child care fees.
Fees for 2020-2021
The monthly fee, based on the age of the child, is due on the first of each month regardless of the number of days in the month, absenteeism due to illness, bad weather, vacations, statutory holidays, job action, or college closures. The parent portion is determined once any Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB) authorization has arrived in the CCS office.
Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard or Pre-Authorized Debit.
Effective Date: September 2020
Note FRI = Fee Reduction Initiative • ACCB = Affordable Child Care Benefit

Affordable Child Care Benefit
Families may apply to the Ministry of Children and Family Development to see if they are eligible for the Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB). It is the enrolling parent's responsibility to apply for the ACCB and to keep all required documents current with the ACCB office. Full payment of the child care fee is required until we are notified of the ACCB approval, and the enrolling parent must pay any outstanding balance not covered by the ACCB to Child Care Services.
Note The ACCB rates reflect maximum ACCB funding levels. Entitlement is not guaranteed at the maximum rate as it is based on net income and family demographics.
