Co-operative Education photo and video contest 2012
It’s photo contest time again, and this year we have added a video category. Take the time to enter– there are great prizes to be won!
This annual contest allows co-op and internship students to showcase themselves applying their education in the workplace. To be eligible, you must have registered in a co-op or internship work term course any time between October 1, 2011 through August 31, 2012, and photographs and videos must pertain to a work term within this time period.
You may submit a maximum of three digital photos, and each photo submission must include a brief description (50 words or less) explaining what you are doing in the photo. Digital photos should be high quality full size images, 2 megapixels or more, with a file size of approximately 1 MB. Digital photos must be submitted in JPEG format. Videos are to be one minute long and contain a description of what you are doing in the video and/or tell the story of your work term experience. Videos can be uploaded to your video hosting website of choice, e.g. YouTube, Vimeo.
First prize winners in each category will receive a $350 Uptown gift card and runners up will receive a $150 Uptown gift card.
Photos and videos must be submitted no later than Friday, August 31, 2012
