Employer benefitsEmployers

Student Employment offers you many services. Services include advertising job opportunities, hosting an on-campus information session/table, collecting resumes and facilitating on-campus interviews. Student Employment hosts career fairs throughout the year and invites interested employers to participate. Post a job or contact us for more information.

Co-operative education provides a three way partnership between employer, student and the college. Students are available at various times throughout the year dependent on the program, and are monitored by faculty during their work term. Co-op programs at Camosun have an applied approach—our students are job ready and eager to integrate their knowledge and skills in your workplace. Students are available from arts & science programs, business, sport and technology. Employers can post a co-op position on line or contact us at co-op@camosun.bc.ca.

Camosun students participating in co-operative education are required to complete Workplace Education Preparation prior to their first work term. Part of this seminar series provides students the opportunity to conduct informational interviews with local employers and to practise their interview skills.

We invite you to participate in these two very valuable activities and appreciate your involvement. For more information call 250-370-4410 or email co–op@camosun.ca.
