Trades Entry English Test
Who takes the Trades English Test?
Anyone wanting to take a Camosun College Trades program (except Electrical and Fine Furniture) and without the published English pre-requisite takes the Trades English Test.
What is included in the Trades English Test and how long does the test take?
The test is made up of two timed sections of multiple-choice questions:
- Vocabulary - 16 minutes
- Reading comprehension - 34 minutes
There are 30 minutes given to write a paragraph.
Total time for the test (including directions): 1.5 - 2 hours
