Office Administration English Test
Who takes the Office Administration English Test?
Anyone wanting to apply to the Office Administration, Medical Office Assistant or Dental Office Receptionist Programs who does not have the published English pre-requisite must write the Office Administration English Test. (Applicants to the Legal Office Assistant program write the English Placement test.)
What is included in the Office Adminstration English Test and how long does the test take?
The test is made up of five timed sections of multiple-choice questions:
- Vocabulary - 34 minutes
- Reading comprehension - 12 minutes
- Spelling - 24 minutes
- Language Mechanics - 24 minutes
- Grammar - 16 minutes
There are 30 minutes given to write a paragraph.
Total time for the test (including directions): 2 ½ - 3 hours
