Who takes the Applied Communication Computer Skills Test?

Anyone wanting to take the Applied Communication Program and lacking a "C" or higher in Camosun College's COMP 156 or BUS 190 or HMGT 192 must take this computer skills test.

What is included in the Applied Communication Computer Skills Test and how long does the test take?

1. File management (create, move, copy, rename, and delete files and folders) in a Windows environment, using Windows Explorer.
2. Word processing (create, copy, edit, format, save and print text), using Microsoft Word 6 or Microsoft Word Pad in a Windows operating system.

Total time for the test (including directions): 45 - 95 minutes
