Camosun College’s campuses are OPEN, Wednesday, Feb. 5

Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. — Camosun’s campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Award description

This award is for a full or part-time student in any Employment Training and Preparation program; student must contribute in and/or outside the classroom in a meaningful way and is distinguished by his/her kindness and caring behaviour.

From 1975 to 2008, the Greater Victoria Citizen Advocacy Society was an integral part of Victoria's social programs, promoting community involvement and personal choice for persons with mental disabilities. This award was established by the former Board of Directors.

Criteria

Student must:

  • have been enrolled in an Access Program or an Access course (Academic Level - select Upgrading & Preparatory) for at least one semester during May 1–April 30.
