This award is to honour a graduate of the Community, Family & Child Studies (CFCS) Diploma program who shows dedication and leadership in supporting people who have significant challenges, and through their actions, inspires others to see the "person within." The successful recipient will demonstrate creativity, compassion and a sense of humour with people with significant challenges. If possible, these recipients will have the ability to 'sign' (sign language).

- be a graduate of the Community, Family & Child Studies (CFCS) Diploma program during the current offering or academic calendar year.

Most of the awards are given to students on the basis of nomination. You will be selected by your instructors or the chair of the department based on your academic performance, enthusiasm, participation and volunteer or work experience.
