Camosun College’s campuses are OPEN, Wednesday, Feb. 5

Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. — Camosun’s campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Areas of interest include hydrology, fluid mechanics, teamwork and project management.

Robin has a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Drexel University and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Villanova University. She has been teaching at Camosun since 2014, specializing in project design courses and Hydrology. Prior to teaching, Robin worked as a consultant for a large engineering firm focusing on water resources, environmental remediation, project management, and risk assessment.

Robin likes to challenge learners to be creative problem solvers and think about problems from the stakeholder’s perspectives.  Witnessing and supporting learners’ progression from their first year Sustainability Project Design all the way through their Final Capstone Project, is the most rewarding part of Robin’s job.
