Camosun College’s campuses are OPEN, Wednesday, Feb. 5

Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 a.m. — Camosun’s campuses are OPEN today. Classes and services are scheduled to run as planned.

Grounds crew have been working at Lansdowne and Interurban to spread salt and sand on parking lots, roadways and main walkways as conditions are icy. Please allow extra time when commuting, dress warmly and stay on cleared paths.

Areas of interest include surveying, AutoCAD, GIS, Civil3D, and municipal design.

Perry joined Camosun in 2017. He previously taught civil engineering courses at Loyalist College and St. Lawrence College, both in Ontario, while also running a municipal engineering consulting firm. He also founded PYXIS Innovation, a Geographic Information Systems and geomatics software company. Perry holds a diploma of Civil Engineering Technology from Loyalist College and a degree in Civil Engineering from Lakehead University. He is currently completing his PhD in geomatics at the University of Calgary.

In his spare time, Perry likes to hike, forage for berries, and write poetry.
