Patrick Jones

Patrick is a Red-Seal Certified Automotive Technician who completed his apprenticeship training in 1987 through Camosun College. He spent 27 years working in Victoria General Motors dealerships where he completed more than 200 GM technical training courses, and earned the annual GM Grand Master Specialist designation multiple times. In 2010 Patrick began teaching Automotive Service Technician Programs at Camosun College. In keeping with his continual desire to learn and improve his practice, Patrick completed the 2 year Provincial Instructor Diploma Program through Vancouver Community College in 2011, and in the Spring of 2014 he completed his M.Ed. in post-secondary curriculum and instruction from Simon Fraser University. Patrick is passionate about automobiles and education, and is dedicated to supporting students in their learning and future success. Outside of the classroom, Patrick enjoys spending time with family and friends and working on his vintage cars.
