Saza Rose is a grateful visitor on the unsurrendered territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples. In her blood and bones she carries Salvadoran, English, and French ancestry. In her soul she carries a love song to the universe.
Saza is passionate about ecological education, slow pedagogies, rewilding, and the role of early learning and care in the creation of more-just worlds. Saza holds conviction that children are sacred gifts in the world, and commits herself to working with adults to imagine spaces where children have rights, where they experience a deep sense of belonging in the world, and where they are received with unconditional positive regard. Saza loves experiential and emergent learning environments that allow for a range of expression and communication alongside of one another and the other-than-human world.
