I began my nursing journey at Mount Royal College in Calgary, earning my BN in 2008 from Athabasca University. Soon after graduating, I relocated to the beautiful Coast Salish territories which I am grateful to have called home since.
My nursing back ground over the last 16 years is in Pediatrics, most recently in Pediatric ICU. I have always loved mentoring students on the Pediatric units and decided to try out more formal nursing education with Camosun in 2017. Since then, I have been sessionally teaching Year 1-3 in clinical and lab settings. I am very excited to be joining the faculty and continuing to contribute to nursing education.
When I am not nursing or teaching, you can find me at the hockey rink with my small players, camping, gardening, paddle boarding, or walking my Great Danes.
