Brent McMillen

Brent has been a faculty member in the Medical Radiography program at Camosun College since 2014.  After completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, he studied at the Eastern Ontario School of X-Ray Technology in Kingston, Ontario, where he obtained a Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (2006). 

Prior to starting his career as a college instructor, he worked at private clinics in Victoria before obtaining a job at Island Health, where he currently still works as a General Radiography Technologist. He has recently finished the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program (PIDP) from Vancouver Community College and has started to obtain credits for his Leadership Diploma from Camosun.

He was born in Port Alberni and is proud to have a Medical Radiography Program on Vancouver Island and looks forward to inspiring and helping the students obtain their goals as they enter the work force as medical radiological technologists.
