Faculty/staff profile
Instructor, Physics
I was born and raised in China. With two bachelor’s degrees in both Physics and English from Beihang University, I came to Canada and graduated from the University of Victoria with a master’s degree in Physics. Teaching is what fulfills me as a human being. When I teach, I am helping students make better sense of the physical world around them and thus become more responsible citizens making educated choices in this modern world with pressing issues such as climate change and environmental pollution.
Outside work, I am also actively involved in a non-profit educational organization called Toastmasters International, to practice interpersonal communication and leadership skills. I am in the business of life-long learning. My vision is to strive for personal growth and help others achieve their potential so we change the world together.
