I'm Richard Zajchowski, but everyone knows me by my nickname "Zack". I've enjoyed many years of teaching/learning work at various Canadian post-secondary institutions.
My first teaching position was as a physics instructor at CEGEP John Abbott College in Quebec. I then moved west to London, Ontario and took up the position of learning skills counsellor at Western University. While there I also completed my MEd in Educational Studies, taught a bit of physics and did research in student problem solving.
Together with my learning skills colleagues at Western, I also co-authored the book Learning for Success published by Nelson Canada and now in its 4th edition.
In 1995, I moved to Victoria to become a learning skills counsellor at Camosun College. After many years of learning skills work at Camosun, I switched to the Academic and Career Foundations (ACF) department in 2012 where I now teach Education & Career Planning and upgrading math.
