HHS Student Interdisciplinary Education Virtual Festival - PASSPORT TO HHS
HHS Student Interdisciplinary Education Virtual Festival - PASSPORT TO HHS
You are invited on a virtual journey with the School of Health and Human Services to explore some of our programs from the comfort of your own, socially-safe distance, and entirely on-line for the third annual School of Health & Human Services Student Interdisciplinary Education Festival (IDE).
Everyone was disappointed when we had to cancel our in-person IDE event so, students from Certified Dental Assistant, Dental Hygiene, Practical Nursing, Certified Medical Laboratory Assistant, and Medical Radiography programs went DIGITAL with their IDE presentations to create this virtual Peer 2 Peer event focused on the theme “Passport to HHS”.
You can also listen to our IDE Key Note speaker, Darrin Abbey, the Director of the Centre for Interprofessional Clinical Simulation Learning at the Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC as he shares his thoughts on the value of health professionals learning with, from and about each other during a 13 minute interview with Kerry-Ann Dompierre, Simulation Education Coordinator with HHS.
