Course Waitlisting has Changed!
Effective March 1, the course waitlist process will no longer auto-enrol you into a course you have waitlisted for when a space becomes available (and you have reached the top of the list). Instead, you will be notified through your email address on file (as listed on Camlink). Registration is no longer automatic. You will have a 24-hour period to register, which will be noted in the email. If you don't register during the 24-hour period, you will be removed from the waitlist.
You’ll receive one email notification of an available seat. Be sure to check your email on a regular basis, or you risk missing your opportunity to secure a seat from the waitlist! If you miss your chance, you can place yourself on the waitlist again - however, you’ll start at the bottom of the list. If you no longer wish to take a section, please drop yourself from the waitlist using Camlink to ensure the space is freed up for another student.
Waitlists open once a course is full, and close prior to the last day to add classes (see term dates here). After classes have started, if you are near the top of a waitlist for a course you require, you should attend the class and let the instructor know you are on the waitlist. ‘Permission to Register’ forms will no longer be required.
If you have not been offered a seat by the time the last day to add classes occurs, you will need to cease attending the class. View the full description of the course waitlist process.
If you have questions, please email the Registration department.
