Camosun’s School of Business celebrates its award-winning students for 2020

Camosun College’s School of Business is proud to announce top award-winning business students for 2020 this year online at: camosun.ca/business.
The School of Business, in partnership with the Camosun College Foundation, offers a series of awards each year to honour its most outstanding students in the disciplines of: accounting, finance, applied business technology, business administration, economics, statistics, hospitality and tourism, human resource management and marketing.
A total of 91 Camosun business students are receiving over $65,000 in awards and honours throughout the School’s 20 different academic programs.
“On behalf of the faculty and staff of the School of Business we offer sincere congratulations to our outstanding students this year,” says Dean of Camosun’s School of Business Richard Stride.
Some of the School’s new awards this year include: the BC Transit Emerging Leader in Finance Award; Women in Finance and Technology Award; Sitka Law Group Legal Office Assistant Award; the Mullin DeMeo Wirk Award for Conveyancing; Thomas John Ferris Memorial Award for Hospitality Management; Vessel Liquor Mixology Award; Vessel Liquor Social Responsibility Award; and, the Kewal and Nasib Bains Award in Business Administration.
“We also wish to thank our many generous donors and community partners, without whom these important awards for students would not be possible,” adds Stride.
More than 2,500 students enroll in business programs at Camosun College each year. The college is home to the largest post-secondary business school on Vancouver Island.
