Camosun Welcome Week & CamFest 2018 September 4-6, 2018
September 4-6 at Lansdowne and Interurban | 8am-2pm
From September 4-6 the Camosun College family will be doing our best to welcome new and returning students to our campuses. We'll be out in full-force answering questions, providing directions, and handing out swag, snacks and information to support you during your first days at Camosun.
Tuesday, September 4 at Lansdowne Campus | 10am-2pm
Thursday, September 6 at Interurban Campus | 10am-2pm
The Camosun College Students Society (CCSS) will be welcoming back students, faculty, and staff at the annual CamFest; this two day festival-style party starts on Tuesday, September 4 from 10am-2pm and continues at Interurban on Thursday, September 6 from 10am-2pm.
Free lunch will be served from 11am-1:30pm (or whenever the food runs out). We’re serving hotdogs as we do every year, but this year keep your eyes peeled for some food trucks!
To round out the fun there'll be live entertainment and garden games. Come out, eat, learn, and have fun. We're all looking forward to meeting you! Check out the action on social media by following #CamFest18.
September 5 at Lansdowne Campus (Meet at Na'tsa'maht) | 12-1pm
Join Sybil Harrison, Director Learning Services, and fellow students, faculty and staff on a campus walking tour that will illustrate the indigenous and historical context of the Lansdowne campus. Starting at Na'tsa'maht, the gathering place, you will hear about the Lkwungen people’s traditional use of this land, and the history and evolution of Camosun College. An engaging way to connect with your campus and make personal connections with the college community.
