Leaders in post-secondary education from across the country and around the world will be gathering at the Victoria Conference Centre from April 30 to May 1 for Colleges and Institutes Canada's (CICan) annual conference. Hosted by Camosun College, this year's conference theme is Na'tsa'maht, a Salish phrase meaning "working together as one."

This annual event, one of the largest in the Canadian post-secondary sector, gathers roughly 900 delegates from institutions and partner organizations across the country, as well as international partners from over 20 different countries, to network and learn from one another on a range of topics.

The conference will feature many distinguished guests and keynote speakers, including Parliamentary Secretary for Science, Kate Young, Green Party leader Elizabeth May, Entrepreneur and founder of SheEO, Vicky Saunders, President and CEO of BC Ferries, Mark Collins, Executive Director of the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council (CAHRC), Portia MacDonald-Dewhirst and Ambassador for Reconciliation Canada, Chief Dr. Robert Joseph, who will be giving the opening keynote address on Sunday April 29.

Over 70 panels and workshops will take place over the three-day event, focused on five streams: leadership and governance; student experience; applied research, entrepreneurship and innovation; the future of skills; and international. In keeping with this year's theme, Indigenous education will be at the heart of the conference and will be reflected across each content stream.

Here are a few examples of the many scheduled presentations
