Camosun College is a proud sponsor of the 2017 Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship taking place in Victoria September 11-17. The event is an official stop on the PGA Tour Champions, welcoming the world’s premier golfers aged 50 and older competing for a USD $1.8 million prize.

As part of the sponsorship agreement, students from Camosun’s Centre for Sport and Exercise Education programs and members of the Camosun College Chargers golf team will have an opportunity to meet and mingle with professional golf players. They will also attend a special speaking engagement with Brad Parkins, COO of Canadian Junior Golf Association.

The Pacific Links Bear Mountain Championship features an impressive line up of PGA stars, including past champions Kenny Perry, Jesper Parnevik, Tom Kite, John Daly, Nick Faldo, and Bernhard Langer.

The tournament takes place at the Jack and Steve Nicklaus Co-Design Mountain Course at Bear Mountain Golf Resort. Pro-Am and championship rounds from Wednesday, September 13 to Sunday, September 17 are open to the public and tickets are available on the tournament website.
