BC government announces free tuition for ABE and ELD programs

BC Premier John Horgan was at Camosun’s Lansdowne campus today to announce free tuition for Adult Basic Education (ABE) and English Language Development (ESL) courses and programs across the province.
The Premier was accompanied by Advanced Education, Skills and Training Minister Melanie Mark, Education Minister Rob Fleming, MLA for Oak Bay-Gordon Head Andrew Weaver, and School District 62 Board Chair Ravi Parmar along with over 150 Camosun students, faculty, and staff. Camosun Board Chair Russ Lazaruk emceed the event.
