Student perspectives on mental health, suicide and hope
An exploration and discussion from the unique experiences of Camosun Students
Release Date: February 18, 2016
Preventing student suicide is of primary importance to all of us but often, despite available self-help information and accessible services, students experiencing psychological distress are not capable of reaching out for support at critical times.
To bring awareness to this subject, Camosun is hosting a sensitive and thoughtful exploration and discussion of mental health, suicide and hope from the unique lived experience perspective of our students. This interactive dialogue will provide insights, recommendations and hope that will surely influence our thinking and our prevention approaches.
