Camosun participates in provincial "ShakeOut" earthquake drill, Oct 15 at 10:15am

We live in a seismically active region. Preparing our college community will help reduce injury and death in the event of a large earthquake.
Camosun College is part of the provincially co-ordinated and synchronized Mass ShakeOut earthquake drill, which occurs on the third Thursday of October each year. We're asking all Camosun employees and students to please participate in this important drill.
Get ready to DROP, COVER and HOLD ON – Thursday, October 15 at 10:15am
Camosun employees and students
At the sound of the air horn, at 10:15am, please:
- Drop, Cover and Hold On
- Remain in your safe position for approx. 1 minute
- After you hear a long blast of horns, emerge from your safe position
- Evacuate your building to the assigned Emergency Assembly Point (EAP) – helpers will guide you there
After approximately 10–15 minutes, you will be able to return to your building.
